Neoenergia Night Run

The Neoenergia Night Run combines the experience of night running with the possibility of new routes in a true green wave that colors the streets it passes through.

The first edition took place in Salvador, in the state of Bahia, offering two routes: 5km and 10km, on Avenida Paralela. With Pace up there, the Neoenergia ambassador and South American medalist Mirelle Leite was guaranteed to be present with the other participants, including amateur and professional runners.

The debut was marked by the completion of the efficiency of the lighting park in the Bahia Administrative Center (CAB), with 900 LED light points, an investment made by the Government of the State of Bahia, Salvador City Hall and Neoenergia Coelba, through the company's Energy Efficiency Program, which totaled R$ 7 million. With the project, an annual energy savings of 880 MWh are expected.

Sustainability and Hunger-Free Bahia

During the delivery of the race kits, the participants had the opportunity to make two important social contributions: delivery of recyclable packaging, intended for Neoenergia's Vale Luz project, which allows the exchange of solid waste for financial credits on the energy bill, and delivery of non-perishable food, intended for the State Government Program - Hunger Free Bahia.

The Neoenergia Night Run is carried out by Neoenergia Coelba, through the distributor's Energy Efficiency Program, regulated by the National Electric Energy Agency (ANEEL), to promote energy saving actions with the support of the Salvador City Hall and the Government of the State of Bahia, partners in the project

Street Races

Neoenergia supports street races held in cities in its area of activity, as a way to encourage and promote one of the most democratic sports. The strategy aims to encourage initiatives that bring together sport, well-being, energy and sustainability, all aligned with the company's brand.

The objective is for events like this to be progressively consolidated in the calendars of sports competitions held in Neoenergia concession areas, in addition to being linked to energy efficiency actions, to the encouragement of physical activity and connected to the causes of all clients.

Brasilia Marathon

The marathon marked the celebration of Brasilia's 64th anniversary, with a sporting event of various courses to include athletes from Brazil and from all over the country. The event included live music and attractions along the Esplanada dos Ministério, one of the postcards of the Brazilian capital, in a unique experience that mobilized the audience present at the venue.

Pink for Life Run

In its eighth edition, the Pink for Life Run street race, in addition to pink, wore the colors of Neoenergia. With the sponsorship, the distributor was even more involved in the lives of the population of the Federal District, in addition to supporting the fight against breast cancer. Neoenergia Brasília prepared a series of events during the race, promoting activities for children and adults at the race venue, regardless of whether they are registered athletes, to pass on concepts and provide tips to combat energy waste.
